John had the rare quality of having wise insight combined with the ability to share his knowledge with and nurture the next generation.
Those of us fortunate to have worked with him remember his kindness and calmness. He was an exemplary role model not only in business but also how to live a life well.

John was a wonderful colleague and friend. He was a special person and I feel very privileged to have known him and to have learnt so much from him. He was intelligent, kind and always had time for others. He will be missed by so many people.
